I was into the great fitness wagon two months ago but fell back when I had a medical problem. I am now very ready to jump back in. It’s going to be rainy season soon where I live and the thought of not fitting into Suspender tights is making me depressed.
So what is the masterplan?
1. Go on detox for three days. I was very successful in detoxifying myself – it made it easier for me to…
2. Give up white rice, soda, caffeine and sweets.
3. Go on 30 minutes of Dance Central 2 every day, increasing to 1hr, then doing the 30-min Shred.
4. The goal is to be able to do Biggest Loser challenges by Week3.
5. Practice portion control and calorie counting.
I consider this my biggest project for the year and since it’s going to be June in six days – I only have six months to be able to meet a goal I want to accomplish for 2012.
Wish me luck, I really need it!

In my quest to be healthier, I have been reading up on juicing and its effects on the body. A friend recommended I try it, and I actually like it! I have been drinking carrot apple juice three times a day. And a 200ml yummy drink is composed of 3 apples and 3 carrots already! Can you imagine packing that much nutrients in a drink? (Can you imagine eating 3 carrots in one sitting?)
I want to try this green juice though. It says it is made up of spinach and bananas with milk (and nuts) and it seems like a complete power meal to me already – protein (spinach + nuts + milk), fruit (bananas) and veggies! If I can do this once a day, replacing one meal for the next three weeks, I am sure I can lose weight and maybe even shop at stores I’ve been dying to shop at (maybe I should keep the eddie bauer coupons 2012 I got!).
ngredients:
1 frozen sliced banana
1 Tablespoon peanut butter
1/2 cup 0% Vanilla Chobani Greek yogurt
1 cup Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Breeze (or other kind of milk)
4 cups baby spinach (or more, or less)
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
Nutritional stats:
350 calories, 10g fiber, 21g protein

Here’s a good power breakfast option:
Almonds, cooked oatmeal, bananas and yogurt meet up in your blender for a power breakfast.
I am making a more conscious effort to track down my eating and limit it to at least 1400 calories a day. It’s really a struggle, I tell you, like trying to get discount pool parts in summer peak months. But it really all boils down to discipline and attitude. If you slip a day, get back to the next, and do it again and again!
Five pounds in a year is 60 lbs! I can do this!
My husband and I are looking for a gym we can enroll in for a few months. We want to jumpstart on our journey to better health (and me losing weight) that the husband advised me to jump the gun and bite the bullet – enroll in a gym. Nothing beats gym equipment and the motivation when working out in a gym, he says. I can treat it like going to the office — and being fit is “work”.
Most gym memberships are on an auto renewal subscription on credit cards. It’s a good thing we were able to finally get rid of credit card debt and regain our good credit score so we would not need rmcn credit services to repair ours. We can finally use our card to enroll in a gym!
My goal is 5lbs a month – in a year that will automatically be 60lbs! Consistency and perserverance is the key.

The whole website is very refreshing especially with the vibrant colors and images. The header, which features citrus fruits and some leaves, successfully provides the website with a natural feel. The home page has navigational links both on the header and below the slideshow.
