Staying Young – Clear Skin

Even if I am a bit on the heavy side, there is one thing I am taking care of pretty well, and that would be my skin. I try and drink lots of water to keep myself hydrated, sleep enough hours in the night (I try very hard :P) and get facials every month in addition to the strict and consistent skin care routine that I have. This is the reason I am very intrigued with GNC Parsippany NJ products. Some even have considered them to be the fountain of youth, being able to insert youth back into aged skin and hands.

I looked at the videos at the GNC Parsippany NJ web site and I can’t wait to learn more about it. I will let you know more once I get the necessary information.

Here is a list of foods that boost your metabolism:
grapefruit
green tea
yogurt
almonds
coffee
turkey
apples
spinach
beans
jalapenos
broccoli
oatmeal
soymilk
cinammon
curry

Store Displays should boast this list if they want to attract people on a healthy quest for better bodies. It’s no wonder my husband has a fast metabolism – he loves spicy food and jalapenos and curry are on the list!

Not on a Diet

Yes I am trying to eat healthy.
No I am not on a diet.
Is this a good idea to make into custom gift cards?

How I wish people can see it differently. Dieting is extremely different from eating healthy. I am not on a diet – I still eat rice. But I have severely cut down on sweets, soda and caffeine. No, I can’t seem to let them go just yet. But my water intake has tripled. I am aware of what is enough and what are my limits. Sooner or later I need to ramp it up I know, but I am trying to make sure I do this!

How To Regulate Your Hormones

I have been battling with hormone irregularities for the longest time and it has caused much havoc into my health.

I am on a serious quest to make sure I get back everything to normal as I hope I can get pregnant again so here are some tips I’ve gathered:

1. Avoid High Omega-6 Polyunsaturated Fats
2. Limit the Caffeine
3. Avoid Toxins
4. SLEEP
5. Supplement Wisely
6. Exercise Lightly
7. Lift Heavy Weights
8. Eat Some Coconut Oil

Foods The Detox Specific Parts of the Body

INTESTINES
Healthy intestines require a healthy balance of good bacteria and proper elimination, enabling this system to do its job. Supportive foods include insoluble and soluble fibers such as flax seeds, beans, green leafy vegetables, oats, whole grains, fresh fruits and vegetables, and more. Probiotic rich foods such as yogurt, kefir, kombucha and other fermented foods are also extremely useful.

KIDNEYS
Foods that support kidney health include anti-inflammatory foods and foods which support mineral balance, including parsley, bell peppers, cabbage, cauliflower, apples, garlic, onions, cranberries, blueberries, strawberries, cherries, grapes, fish and olive oil.

PANCREAS
Foods that support the pancreas include anti-inflammatory foods and foods that help maintain healthy blood sugar, including blueberries, cherries, broccoli, garlic, grapes, spinach, kale, collard greens, Swiss chard, sweet potatoes, tomatoes and tofu.

GALLBLADDER
Specific nutrients help to maintain the quality and integrity of the bile for digestion – without them, the bile become thick, sluggish, and coagulated, causing gall stones. Foods which help maintain integrity include beets, apples, cucumber, Swiss chard, dandelion greens, lemon, flax seed oil, and sweet potato.

Losing Weight – The Natural Way

I am so proud of my friend! She has lost 12 lbs and counting and she did this the natural way! She knew the side effects of weight loss pills so she tried hard to do a combination of diet and exercise.

What she did was detox herself by juicing vegetables. She did this for five days and then from then until now only eats vegetables and fish. She also walks almost everyday. The best part of it all is that she is doing it together with her husband who has lost more pounds than her.

They are totally inspiring!
