Bad Two Weeks

It has been a bad two weeks of healthy living, I confess.

The weather did not help. My upcoming gig over the weekend didn’t help, it has even encouraged me to stress eat again. Plus I have been thinking of Title Loans Mesa and health concerns of my parents.

We have also overindulged during the long weekend with family celebrations and get-togethers. Now that it is over, my taste buds still haven’t recovered from all the sweets and soda that I am still craving hard for some Coke and chocolate.

Now I am cranky and feel sluggish. I need to get back on track again. I’m even afraid to get back on the scale. Maybe I can review the Title Loans Mesa requirements one more time and then I will take a long hot bath, meditate and then step on the scale. In that order.

What Tea Should You Be Drinking?

I am not tea drinker before. But now I am. I guess people can really learn to change and adapt! I drink green tea as often as possible every night not that I need a parker hydraulic hose to drink so many – a cup at night is enough. It is very good for me especially if I ate too much the whole day.

Serving Sizes

Always wondered what would be the correct serving size when logging in calorie counts for your diet? The table above might help. I cant help but give a little cry when I found out pasta should only be a scoop of ice cream – THAT SMALL?!

Simple Fitness Tips

It may seem impossible for me to have a body like this but here are some simple tips for you to try. I personally am following these. Cherokee scrubs may finally look good on me when I start reconsidering apply for a real job!

1. Drink one glass of water every hour. It will make you feel full.
2. Drink ice cold water. Your body will burn calories just getting the water to a normal temperature to digest. Also it is great for your complexion.
3. Drink 3 cups of green tea daily. It will help boost your metabolism, plus its anti-oxidants make your skin look great.
4. Take vitamins daily. Do not take vitamins on an empty stomache, otherwise they have nothing to catalyze with.
5. Eat ice or gum when hungry.

Remember.

Isn’t this true?
I find that if I even entertain one glass of soda or slice of cake I am bound to crave for more and indulge. Sometimes, it just really is better not to get a taste of everything especially if your self-discipline is not that strong (like me).

The Fertility Diet

Is there such a thing?
I came across this book over at Pinterest and read that it is a guide towards overcoming fertility and encouraging ovulation. Basically it tells the things to avoid like transfat commonly seen in commercially prepared foods and animal meat, leaning towards more vegan protein (or plant-based protein). It also encourages women to drink whole milk, not the low-fat or any variety but WHOLE milk. I don’t know if it’s worth the silver coins I have but it retails for $15.00 at Amazon!

Medical Alert Systems

Caring for an elderly person can be tiring and emotionally draining. You can even compare it to like taking care of a baby. Both are prone to accidents and generally, should not be left alone at times.

I personally would invest on medical alert systems for my parents. They are now over 60 years old and still ambulatory but they live alone at home. A Medical alert system can be their personal lifesaver.

Lifenet offers medical alert systems that can be worn three ways – as a pendant, bracelet and belt clip. At the push of a button, EMT certified personnel are alerted and help sent on the way immediately. These people in turn notify family and relatives pre-approved already in their system. Have it worn by your loved one at all times, even when taking a bath or in a tub – it will work! If a button is pushed, even if the EMT personnel can’t hear the person talking or even if no voices are heard, help is still dispatched.

Included in Lifenet Medical Alert System plans:
24/7 USA EMT Certified Monitoring (Exclusive)
1 Console With Battery Back Up
1 Help Button With Free Attachments
Free Lifetime Replacement Service
