My favorite team is the New York Yankees. I love to sit and watch them play on my Direct TV satellite television whenever possible. One of the best baseball players in all of history played for the Yankees. This is the famous Babe Ruth. He created history while playing for this team. This man had 2,213 career RBI’s.

Currently my favorite players include Jeter, Vazquez, and Rodriguez. Jeter has been with the team since 1995. I love to watch him play! In my opinion Vazquez is one of the greatest pitchers in baseball history. He has played for several teams and just joined The Yankees in 2010.Rodriguez is the best third baseman in the league. I just simply love this team!

They have had several mascots in the history of the team including the most famous, a pinstriped bird named Dandy. They currently do not have a mascot. Fans like me are patiently waiting to see what the next mascot will be.

The manager of The Yankees is Joe Girardi. There are several coaches for all parts of the team. Batting is coached by Kevin Long. The pitching coach is David Eiland. All of the coaches are great and it takes every one of them to make up the greatest team in history. So try it sometime, kick back, relax, and enjoy the best team in history!!!
