I dream of having my dream kitchen someday. What I have right now is a makeshift kitchen right beside our laundry area. Sometimes I think it is one of the reasons why I really am not excited to cook, the lack of “ambiance” makes me lazy about cooking and certainly my makeshift kitchen does not motivate me at all.

Things are not convenient and are quite disorganized. A good friend bought me one all the way from Pampanga. If you haven’t tried – you are missing out on a LOT of sweet things. It isnt really sweet to begin with – creamy, heavenly, tasty are the adjectives I can use to describe it. It is best eaten frozen, like ice cream, but you can get to enjoy it even if it has liquefied a bit.

A good friend always had a knack for styling hair. She did everyone’s hair in our class for our graduation pictures and she even started dabbling a little bit in make-up. During college I would often see her social networking account with albums of models she has styled for fashion shows. So I wasn’t at all surprised that she went to a Florida cosmetology School founded by Regency Institute. Founded more than 50 years ago in Minneapolis, Regency is the fastest growing beauty school in the country. Regency has expanded from two Minnesota schools in 2002 to almost 30 campuses across nine states, with continued growth underway for next year.

After eating at Dampa, we let the kids play and burn their energy off at Kids’ Universe. After which, we got hungry just by looking at them so we decided to load up on sugar (again), this time at Cafe Breton.

We met again, on Saturday, this time with our families. It was such a tiring, food-laden weekend! All these pictures did not represent a tenth of what we were able to eat. The husband loved the food, of course while the kids just feasted on the sinigang soup.

I did not eat the shrimp and crab (not a big fan of crustaceans) but I devoured the eggplant ensalada, baked tahong, inihaw na tilapia and liempo (most of which were not pictured anymore).

I want to go back there again!
