Conti’s Cakes

There is a reason why this cake takes a bright page in their menu:

Conti's Mango Bravo
Admittedly their best selling cake, Mango Bravo did not disappoint. But since we wanted to taste other cakes in the menu to learn more about them, we ordered different slices. We should have ordered one whole Mango Bravo cake though!

We went to Conti’s to eat their infamous Mango Bravo but we also ate dinner and it was a truckload of sweets after. That day will go down in history as the day I might have had indigestion – really!

I had the usual Chicken Roulade:

I should have gone for pasta since I ate (a lot of) rice for lunch already. I do not need any more carbs (nor human growth hormone!) that day.

I literally cannot breath after I finished eating so much of the food above. We took out a friend visiting from the US and had her taste Filipino food, and C2 did not disappoint. We should have been careful to eat slowly though because all the food I ate went to my head! At least we didn’t need the best acne products because of all the oil. I was craving for green tea by the night was over!

The Truth About Stretch Marks

The truth about stretch marks is you can be predisposed to it. If your mother had it, you probably will have it too. You do not need to be pregnant to get it, but pregnancy aggravates it since your skin stretches badly. You can lessen the scars by applying cocoa butter stretch marks but you need to understand that they will never go away, they will only lighten in time. Be proud of them – they are proof that you have carried motherhood in your tummy for 9 months!
