Making Our Kitchen Look More Inviting

We are finally going to be tackling our next house improvement project — the kitchen. It is actually my most hated part of the house, primarily because I really cannot do anything about it. It is in junction with our laundry room so it is always messy.

The husband has designed a shelving and storage system to hold our kitchen appliances which would have space for our washing machine as well. We have replaced our electric gas range with a new one and I have put out the cookware I have bought during last year’s Black Friday Sale. Even my Corningware and Corelle diningware are all out — it is a sign that I am ready to cook meals for our family!

We still have a long way to go, and that would entail more money I know. We are so tempted to avail of faxless payday loans so we can finish everything in one go, but we need to be patient and accept the fact that this home improvement project would need to be finished in phases.

I want to have better cooking utensils – both wooden and stainless pieces. I am also wishing for an oven so I can bake – but I can do with the microwave oven and turbo broiler for now. I also have gotten out the multi-cooker we bought so I can steam and grill more – all part of my never ending quest to eat healthier meals. I even bought cookbooks on sale and they are really a big help!

I cant wait to share the progress of this latest project of ours!

Garagedelparco.com Review

The online world has made it easier for everyone to buy or sell different kinds of goods. Cars are no exception because the capability to post pictures and videos online makes it very convenient to sell or buy a car.

This convenience is evident in the number of websites that feature used cars for sale or as the Italians would say it, vendita auto usate. Garagedelparco.com is an Italian website that lets visitors sell or buy used cars or compro auto usate as you would read on the site. This auto usate Milano site provides excellent cars for sale.

The home page alone will impress anyone with the listing of BMWs, Porsches, Maseratis, Jaguars, Ferraris, and many more popular Italian and European cars. The layout of the web site is simple and sleek, making it easy to view and it does not take away the attention from the cars being featured.

Each page of a car being sold contains several images of the car taken from numerous angles, making it easy for a potential buyer to fully appreciate the condition of the car. Aside from this, detailed descriptions and specifications of the car are likewise provided, as well as if the car is available for financing and whether any warranty is included.

The menu on the left sidebar makes it easy to navigate through the web site. If you are looking for a particular car that is not on the site, a box on the lower portion of the left sidebar allows you to send requests by specifying the price range and your email address so that Garagedelparco.com can email particular offers to the person who requested.

Among the other useful areas of the site are the pages on funding, testimonials, and the history and team of Garagedelparco.com. This website provides visitors with a complete online car shopping experience without the impersonal air that you often get from online shopping sites.

Pumped Up!

I need to go back and try Zumba again. I have two weeks before I go back for my laboratory tests and I am hoping I wont disappoint my doctor again. I need to drink more water and eliminate colored drinks! It’s a good thing there are distilled water pumps installed in most malls these days.

I am thinking I need to go on a detox diet – fluids only. But wonder if I can keep it up. I might go crazy!

I Cooked!

I deserve one of those samsung lcd televisions as present to myself for cooking three times the past week when we had no maid!

It is a big feat for me considering I work full-time. (We were out, conveniently, four days of the week. Guess who initiated it?) But the better thing was they liked my cooking!

I cooked the following:
mechado
korean beef stew – their favorite
pork with mushroom and corn

I have pictures but I haven’t downloaded them from my camera yet. Next time!

Pet Supplies Plus for Pet Lovers

I adore pets but not as much as my husband does so I kind of have an idea of how a pet lover hoards on pet supplies. My husband took care of fishes, even bought a very expensive terrarium for his pet fishes when he was still single. He also had rabbits, guinea pigs, dogs and cats, we even took care of a pet iguana when we were dating. I picked up the adoration to pet them but never had the urge of getting my own pet because I don’t think I can take care of them like he does. In the United States, more and more percentage of households owns a pet and there is a steady growth in that percentage every year. So when a pet owner hoards pet supplies for their pets, it usually takes so much amount in unnecessary expenses, usually ends up as clutter and the pet never uses the product. So when this happens to my then-boyfriend-now-husband, I tell him to never hoard instead go to the best online pet store where he can buy anything, any time when he needs supply.

I directed him to Premium Pet Supplies 4U, a family owned company that caters to all sorts of pet supplies your pet needs. It is a one stop shop, for pet lovers like my husband or my sister in law who has a Persian cat right now and would love to buy a couple of toys for cats that her baby Persian will play with, this site is for them. The owners of Premium Pet Supplies 4U are pet lovers as well so they understand the owners needs for their pets. They have supplies for small to big dogs, they even have items for fishes, birds ferrets, hamsters, turtles and a lot more. Truly, Premium Pet Supplies 4U has great combination of pet supplies plus affordable prices, who can ever beat that? I’m sure my husband will be very happy to go online even in the wee hours of the morning.

A dream to travel machu picchu

Summer will soon be just around the corner and the thoughts of vacation are getting me all excited. As early as now I want to save up as much as I can on a much-awaited vacation and scout for travel plans and packages online to see where I can get the best worth for my money. Anywhere near the mountains or the sea will be the most ideal. I can probably explore some beautiful beaches in Asia, like the ones in Bali or Phuket, or maybe I can visit Boracay and some other islands in the Philippines.

I was also contemplating to ‘travel machu picchu in Peru. That exotic island is definitely a must-see. I’d love to see the ruins and the whole Inca civilization that was built around that area. I would like to stroll along the breathtaking scenery of this Peruvian Historical Sanctuary. It was also declared a UNESCO World Heritage site back in the 80′s and of late, as one of the New Seven Wonders of the World and I would like to experience the place in all its glory, first-hand.

I am also seriously considering australia tours as well. Maybe see a bit of Brisbane and check out the Grand Opera House in Sydney. Maybe I can also sample a bit of the Aborigine’s indigenous cuisine and play a little of Didgeridoo music.

I am also scanning this canada tours site the other day. They are offering a really interesting tour package for a very reasonable amount. The package include accommodations to one of the reputable hotels in the country and a tour of famous landmarks and tourist destinations the country has to offer, including Niagara Falls and Canada’s Wonderland, which are both in Ontario, Stanley Park, Exhibition Place in Toronto, and the Banff National Park in Alberta.

I am having quite a hard time deciding really. It is a good thing I have a few more months left to do just that.

Enjoying Art in Amsterdam Among Other Attractions

I always dreamt of going to Europe, it is actually my ultimate dream for a grand vacation with my family, of course. I particularly, would want to see Amsterdam, I heard a lot of great things about it and I know Amsterdam is known for it’s canals, distinct culture, magnificent architecture and the easy going nature of its locals. I heard that art in Amsterdam is always a feast in the eyes. Amsterdam is the most visited city in Europe with millions of tourists visiting every year. The city is the perfect blend of history and modern goodness from architecture, art and even food. There are also tons of festivals and events that are on going every year, so celebrations are actually non-stop in Amsterdam. So what to do in Amsterdam? Here are just a few on the list that tourists can enjoy: Museums, Shopping, Cuisines, Historical Buildings, Red Light District, Parks, Zoos and a lot more, making Amsterdam a city made for tourists. With such an overwhelming diversity of things in store, I believe a tourist should plan their travel really well, planning an itinerary should be the key in enjoying the trip and not wasting any minute of stay in Amsterdam.

In coolcapitals.com, you will have an online guide to traveling to Amsterdam. The very first thing I browsed is their food. Any traveler should not be walking around the city without the idea of the foods that the city can offer, he should know what amsterdam restaurants to go to when hungry but should have the experience of what their food tastes like at prices that will not burn a hole in their pockets. Cool Capitals’ Amsterdam page shows images of how beautiful the city is, you can appreciate the whole city by just clicking the images. An art enthusiast and wants to know more about art Amsterdam? You can click their Art category and see the list of galleries that you can visit. They also have a list of hotels, entertainment and even gives you an idea of the things to do in their city. This site is not exclusive with just Amsterdam because they also show other places like, Vienna and Zurich among others.

Wakesurfing

I should take up an active hobby, preferably one involved in sports.

This is what I realized during my first few weeks on being on a diet. The pounds won’t come off as fast as I would like them too. Somebody suggested I do some exercise at least 30 minutes a day, four times a week. The weight I lost doubled in the week I followed her suggestion. Since I get tired of anything monotonous like walking on the treadmill, I realized I should take up a sport.

And then I saw a video a cousin of mine posted on Facebook. She was surfing! And I knew then that I wanted to learn surfing. I messaged her for details and she replied that she wasn’t actually surfing but wakesurfing. Sounds new to your ears? Basically, she explained that wakesurfing as a cross between wakeboarding and surfing. The board resembles a surfboard you would use in the ocean but the waves you ride are produced by the boat. You do not have to go to beaches known for its waves. You just need a boat like what you need when wakeboarding, and do such actions until you are riding on top of the water, from the waves behind the boat, and you just drop the rope and ride with the waves. Now I want to be a wakesurfer! I can get a wakesufing beginner lesson from her and get my supplies from the Tahoe Marine Supply.

Would this be a sport I can last long into?
We will see.
