Different Styles of Cooking Eggs

My kids are egg-lovers. For a family of four (three during weekdays), we can easily finish two dozen eggs a week. My daughter likes to eat them boiled and eats only the white part (and no she is does not need to build muscles she is only three!). Meanwhile, my son loves it sunny side-up with the yolk part “runny” or not fully cooked. Here are different styles for cooking eggs, just in case you would like to experiment.

Coddled Eggs

Deviled Eggs

Fried Eggs

Microwave Eggs

Poached Eggs

I personally love scrambled eggs and deviled ones. I might try poaching an egg, I think my son will love that:

Explanation of Tai Chi and How to Start

Tai chi in Austin, TX, is a great way to improve your health and to meditate while you are moving. Tai chi has been translated or interpreted as an all-encompassing exercise. The chi, or life force, is what provides us with energy and health. In China, many years ago, a doctor was paid for all his patients he wasn’t treating. If anyone in his jurisdiction was sick, he didn’t get paid for their portion. Chinese medicine teaches that when the chi is blocked, sickness, disease, and pain are usually the result. In these teachings is the belief that your joints are the gates that chi flows through. The deep breathing, combined with the gentle approach, the swaying movements, and the focus of the mind on what the body is doing, will relieve tension in these gate areas and open the joints so the chi can move freely through them.

Tai Chi Practice

People of all ages and in all levels of physical condition will benefit from a tai chi practice. If you have never participated in a class or group session of tai chi and don’t know anything about it, it is highly recommended that you find a qualified instructor to teach you the basics of tai chi and to get you started off on the right foot, so to speak. You can ask the instructor about their credentials and their experience. They may offer a free first class for you to try them out and see if their style is something you might be comfortable with. Besides there being many types of tai chi, there are also many styles, depending who is teaching and what type they are teaching. The key is to find an instructor who teaches a type you like and in a style that you’re comfortable with. Taking a class for tai chi in Austin, TX, will start you on the road to feeling better, developing more flexibility, healing, less pain, and a greater connection of your body to your mind and vice versa. Making tai chi a daily practice can change your life in a very positive way.

Reasons to See a Chiropractor

You might need the services of Columbus chiropractors more than you think. There are several instances where they are the only ones who can provide solutions to your health problems. Chiropractors treat individuals suffering from spine, neck, and limb pain.

Here are some of them:

Back and Neck Pain

Chiropractors employ a wide variety of techniques designed to eliminate pain in the neck, upper back, and lower back. They believe that spinal misalignments can cause the nervous system to function improperly, sending the wrong signals to different parts of the body and causing a host of ailments. Their methods promote structural wellness, so they’ll strive to not only do away with your discomfort, but also to enhance your overall wellbeing.

Pain, Numbness, or Tingling

The treatment of issues in extremities, such as the hands, feet, hips, and shoulders, has always been a major part of chiropractic care. A chiropractor will attempt to ease pressure on the affected nerves, preventing the need for surgery or strong medications.

Stress Relief

A professional chiropractic examination will assess the health of your nervous system to find out what’s wrong, and your chiropractor will subsequently attempt to restore your body’s balance. Many patients report reduced stress levels and increased energy after achieving proper spinal health.

What is great about getting treatment from chiropractors is that they reduce the need for pain medications and even prevent surgery.

When choosing a chiropractor, make sure you have talked to him in detail about your expectations and ask about anything that worries you or things you would like to know more about. Most chiropractors are popular for people who is suffering from sports injuries or those who are trying to recover from an accident. In fact, six to 12 percent of the American population sees a chiropractor each year! People have been slowly going back to holistic treatments or the natural method of healing.

Choosing Tiles for Your Kitchen

The kitchen is one of the busiest areas in the your home and one area that can have several different kinds of tiles. Choosing and shopping for tiles at Mainland Tile can be overwhelming and challenging. However, you need to remember that aside from aesthetics and design, tiles have different applications. For example, glossy tiles should not be used on the floor as they are not made for walking.

Decide Where it Will Be Installed
According to Freshome, there are many areas in the kitchen where you can use tiles – as a backsplash, countertop and even the kitchen floor.

Know Certain Differences Between Tile Types
Tiles for the kitchen can range from quarry, stone, cork, vinyl, bamboo, ceramic, porcelain and glass. Vinyl, cork and bamboo tiles are most commonly used in flooring. Quarry, ceramic, and porcelain are often chosen to be used for counters and floors. Glass tile is commonly reserved for walls and backsplashes.

Decide on Your Budget
Tiles can be inexpensive and expensive at the same time. You need to decide on how much you are willing to spend and be aware of the prices before envisioning what you have in your head. For example, linoleum tiles are inexpensive but custom-designed ceramic tiles aren’t. You can mix and match them so you can fall within your budget. Stores help you estimate these kinds of budget concerns.

Design Tip: You can mix an inexpensive ceramic backsplash tile with either stone or glass. You can use stone or glass mosaics, cut them into strips and add them to your backsplash design.

Consider your family’s lifestyle
For example, if you have small children, you need to choose a floor tile that is durable and non-slippery, able to withstand heavy traffic, spills, pets (if you have one) and constant cleaning. You should also consider how much of an upkeep to maintain it (whether it needs to be waxed or mopped every now and then). If you choose a wall tile for a floor the coefficient of friction (COF) will be too low, which in turn means it’s too slippery for walking. Instead choose floor tile that has a slight raised pattern, or texture to it to allow for a safer kitchen floor.

For kitchen countertops, consider maintenance and durability. You might be wise to get tiles that don’t easily crack. For example, ceramic tiles are durable and can hold up hear from cooking pans, easy to clean as well. A downside is that its surface is uneven making it crack or chip easily than others.

Why Detox/Juicing Is Good for You

“A detox is an internal cleanse that helps you to eliminate toxins and waste from your body. The older we get, the slower our system becomes. This is not a natural side effect of the aging process, rather, it is a result of an accumulation
of toxins and waste products. By removing the waste from your body, you give it the opportunity to return to its natural state of health and well-being!”- The Nutrition Mom

I have been trying to save a little so I can afford a one-day cleanse from Juju Cleanse. They dont deliver to my area so logistics is another challenge. But I promise myself I will try them out for at least a day before the year ends. Maybe instead of buying 1/4″ shelf support things for my beading hobby, I’d save it for this!
