NSG Goodies (National Sports Grill)

I met up with friends a few weeks ago to discuss where to buy golf pda gps at the source and catch up on each others’ lives. We have not seen each other for months now though we get to “see” each other online everyday, it is still not the same as personal interaction. There are some things we just talk about better in person.

We ate at National Sports Grill and I cannot believe I was able to finish their HUMONGOUS servings – I kid you not!

Starbucks Five Cheese Turnover

This is my current favorite in the Starbucks’ treat section – the five cheese turnover. It is one of the very few things my husband likes at Starbucks! It’s the five cheese turnover and I discovered it through my sister. We were having one of those sister dates where we discuss what’s happening in our lives, job prospects, my dislike towards nursing uniforms and gossip in general.

Now, whenever the husband and I go out on our regular Starbucks date, we make sure to order this when it is available!

Going Green?

For the longest time, I have been putting off taking diet pills to help me lose weight. I have this malformed idea that I can lose weight the hard way if I just put all my heart (and soul) to it. Look what I have been eating! It’s enough greens to make you gag:

Tokwa with Broccoli in Oyster Sauce | Green Salad with Sonya’s Garden Dressing

It’s not as bad as it looks actually, but I really cannot eat it everyday. So I try to make sure to avoid fatty foods and eat these instead:

Homemade Siomai | Adobong Kangkong | Adobong Pusit

But alas, it only made my consumption of rice bigger – too yummy!
My tragic life.

What To Expect with Travel RN Jobs

Do you want to get paid to travel and at the same time help people in need? If you happen to be a nurse and have wanderlust, travel rn jobs would be perfect for you. You get to travel and still practice your profession!

Most travel nursing job assignments last 13 weeks, but typically range from four weeks to a year. A possibility for an extension to an assignment is likely too, since most nurses grow quite attached to the facility they are assigned to. It is a contractual assignment – meaning your job (and its benefits) is based on a per assignment basis.

A 40-hour work week is considered full time for travelers working eight- or 10-hour shifts. For travelers who work 12-hour shifts, 36-hour work weeks are considered full time. Most travel nurse contracts will guarantee a minimum weekly payment for a full-time schedule. Travel nurse job assignments are offered at small community facilities, as well as at some of the nation’s top-rated hospitals and health care facilities in larger metropolitan areas.

If you are keen on applying, make sure you go through a travel rn agency. There are travel nurse companies like On Assignment Nurse Travel that will help you find a perfect match for a job and a location you would like.
