Breakfast: Most Important Meal of the Day

We always hear this – to never skip breakfast because it is the most important meal of the day. It is said that when you skip breakfast, you are more likely to overeat and choose bad choices for lunch. Your body would also be starving so you would be so low in energy that you most likely would concede to eating/drinking sugar or caffeine.

What would a typical power breakfast have?

Very much like what the hotel offers free continental breakfast with – full of fiber, protein and good carbohydrates. I love continental breakfasts since I have more choices. I also take advantage of the free buffet breakfast meals when we check in hotels since I get the most bang for my buck.

Do you go on staycations at hotels during long weekends?

My family does that from time to time. While we don’t really do much – we just stay in our room, enjoy our beds, the aircon and the kids go swimming in the pool.
