Different Types of Bath Vanities

While the bathroom is considered pretty much a functional space, bath vanities give a sense of style and design to it. It is considered to be one of the largest features of a bathroom aside from the shower, tub and toilet. This is why bath vanities can have a significant design impact on the look of a bathroom.

Restaurants, offices and public buildings usually buy wholesale bathroom vanities because of the number of bathrooms they need to decorate but essentially they try to keep it in line with the over-all look and theme of their place. For example, restaurants that have a 50s diner feel extend that look all the way to their restrooms with retro bathroom vanities.

Here are some examples of the styles available:
1. Traditional. These are typically large in size, made of wood and are often the focal point of the bathroom.
2. Contemporary/Modern. These offer clean lines and are usually minimalist in design, having chrome or brushed nickel finishes without decorative moldings or embellishments.
3. Antique. These add a touch of old-fashioned charm to your bathroom. They are often highly ornate with many carved moldings and painted patterns – usually corresponding to different time periods like the Renaissance, Victorian and Colonial eras.
4. Country. These are usually made of wood with a distressed finish and stenciled designs on the doors and cabinets.
