I wish there were job training programs I took back in high school before I decided which college degree to take when I was young. While I the medical field remains to be my first love, I know that if I underwent seminars and counselling in a career development center, I would find out which careers would be best for my personality and where I can really shine. I have to pat myself in the back though because I consider myself someone who can work in all fields and somehow be good at it. I still wish I can practice what I have studied so hard for eight years. I have always considered myself a nerd as I love studying! If I can help it, I would like to enroll on a online college degree program but I need to stop myself as I do not have the time to even rest these days.

When my kids grow up, I will let them decide for themselves what college degree they would to enroll themselves in. As much as possible, I want to give them all their options so they would be able to choose wisely. College studies are just a first step towards what they will be doing, hopefully, for the rest of their lives. I want them to be prepared, but most of all, in a field they love and want to be in.
