Plasma TV has been in the current popular technology for quite a few years now. It is energy efficient and it is friendlier to the environment as opposed to cathode ray tubes (CRTs). It is also space saving since you can simply attach it to the wall or the ceiling without that bulky picture tube. Most can be viewed satisfactorily from the side without turning the picture into ghost-black effect. It is more expensive but the lifetime cost of using it will give you less out of your pocket because of the less energy or electricity consumption it requires.
The downside, though, is plasma burn in. It is that image that stays even when you have changed channels. What do you do if you have that problem? Will you simply buy a new one? Did you know that you can fix stuck pixels? Oh yes, now you can, and you can do so regularly that burn in problems will be a thing of the past. In fact, it is suggested you do it every two weeks or even as often as you see the slightest trace that makes viewing irritable.
Try it. It is a lot cheaper than having it repaired or buying a new unit.
